Founded in 1991 started as PGs Jamaican Restaurant
Started off in 1991 our restaurant doors opened in Downtown Vancouver. As we felt that the jamaican food was under represented in Vancouver BC we decided to open the doors at Granville and nelson
Our Story
PGs Stemming from the name Pauline Griffiths.
It all started with a Mother from kingston jamaica and a Father from the countryside of Mandeville, Jamaica. Moving to canada with 7 children with a the dream which had to be built.
In 1991 we finally got the chance to open their doors to a jamaican restaurant downtown Vancouver. Since then we have been committed to bring the lower mainland authentic jamaican food and service. Since Being Downtown Vancouver we have also had the pleasure of bringing our food and service to the city of white rock. Now we have decided to make a pivot to bring our classic dishes to your front door. Thank you for being on this journey with us.
